Why is presence missing for a user?

Lanyard only returns data for users who joined the Lanyard Discord bot and opted in. There is no way to fetch private presence without that opt-in.

How do I enable Developer Mode in Discord?

If nothing comes back, that user is not sharing presence through that service. Most Discord users will not show data here.
