Any GTA roleplay server that uses the shared Name says: chat format — GTA World (GTAW), FiveM, RAGE MP, RedM, and alt:V. GTAW-specific faction coloring layers on top, but the core parser handles the generic format all of them share.

What do /me and /do mean in a chatlog?

/me describes an action your character performs, shown in purple. /do describes the environment or an out-of-character fact for the scene, shown in a distinct color. Plain lines like 'Name says:' are spoken dialogue.

THE COMMON LINE FORMATS

Name says: — spoken dialogue (normal chat).
/me — an action your character performs, rendered in purple.
/do — environment description or an out-of-character scene fact.
(( OOC )) / /b — out-of-character chat, shown greyed.
Whisper, shout, low, radio, and phone lines each get their own styling.

WHY IT WORKS ACROSS SERVERS

GTAW, FiveM, RAGE MP, RedM, and alt:V share the same Name says: chat structure.
The parser reads that generic format, so a log from any of them formats correctly.
GTAW faction colors layer on top for servers that use them.

STEP BY STEP

1. Copy the chat lines from your client.
